Backsider Construction can inspect visible roof conditions, preserve project photos, and prepare a construction scope. The property owner handles any insurance claim with the carrier or an appropriately licensed adviser.
A roofing contractor is not automatically a public adjuster and should not prepare, file, or negotiate an insurance claim for the property owner. A contractor can inspect the property, document observed construction conditions, explain its own estimate, and perform authorized construction work.
Backsider's rule is simple: we document the roof condition and our proposed construction scope. You decide whether to contact your carrier and discuss coverage, deductibles, and policy terms with the appropriate parties.
